Quectel IoT Modules Well Received at EUW 2017

 

Quectel Wireless Solutions, a leading global supplier of Internet of Things (IoT) modules, showcased its latest products at the European Utility Week (EUW), which has just concluded on October 5 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

 

 

The annual landmark event of the European energy calendar covers energy fields such as electricity, water and gas, and includes topics of smart metering, smart grid, data management, AMR&AMI, telecommunications & IT and energy retail.

 

The displayed products, including Quectel’s flagship Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) modules, LTE Cat 1 EC21 and Cat 4 EC25, have been well received in the metering and smart grid market, and hence attracted a staggering amount of visitors and clients to Quectel booth during the three-day event.

 

 

As of late June this year, the two LPWA modules, NB-IoT BC95 and multi-mode LTE Cat M1/Cat NB1/EGPRS/GNSS BG96, have been embedded in innovative IoT terminals and solutions by more than 400 companies. These terminals involved a wide range of applications, such as smart metering, tracker, cold chain management, logistics, and livestock monitoring. Quectel’s other LTE modules have also been extensively applied in smart grid, energy and smart metering sectors.

 

 

Moreover, Quectel brought its smart modules SC20 and SC60, automotive-grade module AG35 and newly-launched LTE Cat 6 modules to the three-day event. The comopany’s broad product portfolio is able to address many challenging IoT connectivity demand and greatly enhanced clients’ confidence in Quectel’s R&D strength.
